There was a chance to see Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) in action this week on the Channel 4 TV show Grand Designs which featured a 1940’s prefab being turned into fantastic bespoke, modern home built using modular construction.
Manufactured in just six weeks on a production line, complete with insulation, tiling and kitchen installed, the modules for the house were transported and craned into place and was a great example of how MMC offers the chance to transform house construction for the future.
