The Building Growth South West team and guests had the opportunity to view Agile Home’s TAM product at Filwood, South Bristol in July as part of celebrations for the company’s three year anniversary.
During the visit they learnt about Agile’s innovative system which uses renewable materials to make high-quality, carbon-capturing construction panels and whole-building solutions, all designed to contribute to the UK’s net-zero transition. The one-bed TAM product they viewed can capture up to 27,000 kgs of carbon-dioxide per unit, storing it safely while the occupants enjoy the building design, low utility bills and calm acoustics.
“These site visits are extremely value to the MMC construction industry, helping to pave the way to bigger projects and helping local communities along the way,” stated Lisa Saunders, Construction Programme Director for YTKO.
